SUP Build (final prototype)

Post by tech_support »

This will be the last prototype :) , i think we have it down now. Its tricky getting a fair shape out of 3mm when you trying to save as much weight as possible.

cut it out and glued up stingers frames today, gluing up puzzle joints for sides and bottom also.

Can't wait to see this come together! are you going to post the CAD renderings or just make us wait for the build to finish and show us the final product?

There is a slight difference in hull shape, maybe 1/2" total: the vee at the bow is not as pronounced anymore. I wanted more volume there, it is much easier to build and stronger. The difference is barely visible.

Perhaps you should advertising the new paddleboard in Yoga World magazine. Might help to reach a broader group of customers.

For those of us that wont be surfing with the board how hard do you think is would be to just put a fin box in the center aft?

its like a $10 add on but really gives you the ability to add some sexy fin choices.
