The Bateau plywood page lists Meranti 1088 and 6566 as the same weight... is that true?

And that's why the SilverTip kit includes EZ-Fillet... in addition to the GelMagic... for times when one needs something thicker and does not wish to mix their own.

OK... but, as I said, GelMagic is not intended to be used for fillets. It is an adhesive, which was included in your kit to be used as such.

EZ-Fillet, as I said, is the product included in your kit for fillets.

The SilverTip product for your fillets is EZ-Fillet. GelMagic is good stuff, just not intended for fillets.
