I have my plans for the XF-20 but right in the middle of buying another house and moving so my plan to start the build is on hold right now but will be purchasing from this site when I get settled. :wink:

Yes dave it was Houston hardwoods. And FYI, their prices are only a dollar or so lower than Bateaus, then you have to pay tax and the expense of traveling to pick it up. To me Bateau is very impressive with pricing.

I had a salesman with a large lumber supply warehouse in Houston tell me hydratech is Merantti BS-1099 plywood.
Is this true?

The picture of the allum hull is a design of the baby cats that are running in the backwaters now in texas. It is supposed to be a scaled down version of a catermaran.
Where is this allum hull being built? I would like to go by and see it.

I fish LLM along with the Galveston Bays and the water you sometimes need to get in is super shallow. The production boats may run shallow, as mine does, but come to a stop in these shallow waters and you are beached, I know from experience. The xf is designed to be a shallow static hull, look at th...
