Re: HMD 19 - Yoda's legacy continues

Congrats on the splash(es), the windows look nice and I like the idea of water ballast to easily compensate for load.

Re: Jeffs FS14 LS

Good point that I forgot to mention. After 30 years of doing body work I just took it for granted that it was understood to use a good spreader! 30 years of body work? That is an insanely unfair advantage! These boats are 99% body work! Buddy of mine who grew up in VT went to some technical college...

one thing on the squeegee... keep the edge smooth and clean or your glass gets pulled or moved. And then you have a real mess. One that temps you to get gasoline and matches. Re: FS 14 Build Malaysia

Coming along great Bernard, reverse chine looks excellent! The last few boats I’ve done both sides of every panel, yes. In many cases it’s just 4oz woven which hardly adds any weight, but gives me peace of mind. I just got a shipment of 4 oz fabric from BBC. I'm taking your advice and am going to g...

Re: HMD 21 starting - help

Temperature will greatly affect curing times. Where I live it’s very cold and even with medium speed hardener my epoxy takes 14-18 hours to cure. If I use the slow hardener it takes 24+ hours to cure.
