Upgrade of motor for my GF16

I have a question some of you may be able to help me with, some of you may recall I built a GF16 18 months ago, wow what a boat, I love it to bits, I generally fished large lakes with it with an older 20hp Johnson. My situation has changed and I'm movin...

I did not have any voids and the only comment I would have that if you were looking for a bright finish there was alot of colour difference between the sheets. Save your money and get the 6656, spend the money...

It took me an estimated 180 hours over 3 months. So I was at it between 15 and 20 hours a week, and I got a 4-6 foot finis...

Hi Robbie, where I had a large gap I filled with wood fillets to cut down on epoxy use, however once you have your duct tape in place you can force the peanut butter into spaces very well, just leave a small gap for trapped air to escape. Also once you remove your duct tape it is easy to inspect whe...

Jacques, a new design idea, zero draft!

Makes one hell of a noise and gets on to plane in a fasion. keeps right on going over beaches etc. Most amazing of all is that it actually floa...

Hi Robbie, presumeably you are refering to diagonals when you say you are an inch off? I personally was always within a 1/4 inch, but it is very easy to distort the hull prior to the bottom going on, what stage are you at, dry fitting the seat tops? Do you have any photos to show us? Is the floor yo...
