Re: Project TW28
Cheers should be back up and building within a couple of weeks. Been looking at the solar/charger system and reckon the Victron IP22 20A ac charger with three outputs (in case of further expansion) and the Victron 115w panels with a MPPT 75 10 controller total cost approx. £300 The battery I am char...

Won't be building for a couple of weeks just had a chunk taken out of my back and a lymph gland taken out managed to get skin cancer but they think its probably all clear now. Thank God for the NHS didn't cost me a thing.

Re: knottyBuoyz III The TW28 Project
The idea of using a solar panel for the winch battery is a stroke of genius and using a separate ac charger solves so many switching problems. I have a Victron ac charger already installed and this has a trickle charger for the cranking battery and a charging circuit for the house bank. I had purcha...

Re: knottyBuoyz III The TW28 Project
How are you going to wire up the anode. Im still not sure what you link up within the wiring system or is it just metallic parts. Also struggling to design a system for the charging using one alternator. I will have a cranking battery, two house batteries in parallel and a battery for the whinch. Al...

Re: Project TW28
Been working in the forecabin unfortunately the space is so cramped it results in a busted back and lots of pain killers https://www.community.boatbuildercentral.com/gallery/albums/userpics/24893/forecabin_1.jpg https://www.community.boatbuildercentral.com/gallery/albums/userpics/24893/forecabin2.jpg
