Hope your strength builds up, I'm really looking forward to your performance reports on the HMD when it finally gets splashed. I'm working on my temporary "workshop" while memorizing my HMD plans. Yoda, have you made any modifications or is yours per plan? Having worked on it for what, th...

Amazing what with the windscreen.
And my daughter, her husband, and the 2 boys are enjoying London for a few days. Then they're going to Germany.
She loves London.

I put up a pic from today. As soon as the paint is done and cured I hang the motor. I will get motor hooked up and running, get the wiring done, then launch the boat with a load. Re: DE23 Builders Sites or Pictures ?

Hi all... I've decided to go with the DE23. I saw a listing of a DE23 build on the builders site but there were no links or photos when I clicked on it. Anyone know of DE23 sites that I can look at ? Many thanks..JB http://gallery.bateau2.com/thumbnails.php?album=search&type=full&search=de23

Thanks, Yoda! Living on Guam, if I need things from mainland I need to be planning about two months ahead in order to have them on hand when needed. I expect I'll be soliciting your advice from time to time. Have you launched yet? No, I'm a couple of weeks away. I'm finishing outside paint. Taking ...

"Yes what you suggest is o.k. - but what about using 2 pieces across the width, overlapping at the centerline? I think this is what I had in mind when I was calculating qty. for the outside. BOM is on home computer so I will check tonight. I may have assumed running it transverse between frames...

A displacement hull has a speed that is based on waterline length. They will not plane. Once you get power to reach hull speed more power will make it try to climb bow wave and burn a lot more fuel. But you won't get home any faster. As you start running a displacement hull you can watch the bow wav...
