SD11 plan confusion

After completing the FL14 I decided to attempt a SD11 for my now brother in law. I have some confusion with the plans. I am having trouble with the side panel dimensions. Looking at the construction and plates drawning 95/2 I have a nesting diagram for side panels with no measurements. At the top of...

What design for the soon to be newlyweds.

Ok I know absolutely nothing about sailing. My future brother in law, loves sailing. So. Now that the FL14 is about ready to move to her new home. She is going to my father. I have been charged with building a small sailboat for the soon to be newlyweds. Not complaining it gives me an excuse to spen...

Well for a first project I think I am sold on the FL14. I will also be using my first boat in the rivers a lot, mostly the Snohomish and Skagit. After much thought and remember how fun (sarcasim) it was in the river in our old 17 footer. I think a smaller 14 footer like the FL14 will work much bette...

When I say average day you and I know how windy and rainy it can be. Currently we are using an old 1968 17 footer Pacific Mar...
