Re: Tunnel

I am not sure what the width of the bottom of your 1965 Skeeter is, and that will dictate some of the performance of adding a tunnel. Look at my build thread from almost 20 years ago for reference. I put a tunnel in the bottom of my GF-16 against Jacques wishes. I knew what I wanted (like most of us...

Re: FS14 Wolf's build

My Scouts were setup with two batteries and one had a 36 volt trolling motor setup, 3 batteries. Scouts had battebry chargers setup for AGM deep cycle/starting batteries. Curious what Scout boats you have had? I have a 2003 model 195 Sportfish and besides being heavy it has been a great boat. FS is...

Re: FS14- Bayou City Boat

OQ, Like I did jumping in to GB's thread this week, I have caught up on yours too. I'm not too far from you and would like to see your build whenever you are ready to show it off. Of course if you need anything and I'm able I will lend a hand. The FS14 is one of the sets of plans I have and may jump...

Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

Michael, No apologies needed for me. I recognized a long time ago that my "join date" somehow got jumbled to New year's Eve 1969 but I think you are the first one to point it out. I think that it's comical and hope it gets left alone. Especially since I wasn't born until 1977! LOL I'm glad...

Re: ST21 Hybrid Powered "SKINNYDIP" Noosa Australia

GB, I have been following your build and like others am very impressed. Hopefully you get the drive issue figured out. Regarding a sealant for your new access covers, have you given any thought to using plumber's putty? I believe that it is worth considering and investigating. It's cheap, but effect...

Re: T's GF12

Hi PD,

Been a long time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Let me know how this thing is running and if I can offer any insights. I'm way behind on reading these boards so I don't have a clue where you are other than seeing you got a "better" motor. (I put a 25 ETEC on my GF16T)

Re: A Cracker Built GF18

Hi Larry, It has been a couple of years since I have been active on the board here, but no surprise to find you almost done with another boat. This one looks great, as usual. I spent most of the weekend, off and on between tearing down Christmas decorations and preparing for a week long hunting trip...

Re: What type of trim tab to buy

Tom, If the price of the Volvo QL tabs is all that is holding you back, shoot me an email. I've got a brand new, in the box set that are not going to work out for me that I'd like to recoup some cost on. I put a post on them in the "flush mount tabs" thread up top offering them to Larry. H...

Re: Diesel Engine Owners

No problem Tom.

I think you're right that it won't ever revert back to being a refinery "by product".
