BTW, the hull is glass over wood. My previous string was regarding the leaky sole. I got that covered as it was not the floor taking water but poor gunnel construction and rot. Replaced those nicely. :help: Anyone have experience in replacing a leaky worn sole in a garvey. A buddy of mine gave me an older 21' Garvey that leaks into the bildge from its topside/sole (rain watter). I am building the CS23. I as well looked at both CNC kit vs. plywood only purchase. I looked around for the best marine ply pricing and found that the CNC kit cost a little more than $400..
