I appreciate your comments regarding registered guests being able to post here. I did this because I needed some quick help in where to start. Let me explain, I recently (3 months ago) purchased the plans for the CS23. I am in the process of repairing this older garvey to freshen my skills before I ...

Repair Rotted quarters in transom of Garvey

BTW, the hull is glass over wood. My previous string was regarding the leaky sole. I got that covered as it was not the floor taking water but poor gunnel construction and rot. Replaced those nicely. New problem: In repairing the leaky gunnels of the garvey, I started to tear off the glass on the tr...

I just purchased a used 1994 Suzuki 225 for my CS-23 on Ebay. All up including controls, harness, and gauges... $1500. Motor only has 350 hours on it and great compression in all cyl. It should move the boat along fairly well. I am planning on putting in on a bracket as well.

I plan on removing the sole and re-glassing. I am doing this for two reasons, one more obvious than the other. First t...

If you ask me, that is worth spending the extra $. Time is money, wether or not building a boat is a HOBBY... ...

Not as far along as you. Although, I am ordering the CNC kit next week to cut down on production time so I will likely be caught up fairly quickly. I think we are the first to be building these.
