I did something similar, might help you out i dunno. Check pg 13-15. I would have liked to use all foam core sides and a honeycomb top, but time was money so i used pre-lammed nidacore. Changed my mind on a door in the front panel so thats why its marine ply (easier to do flanges and whatnot)... htt...

I have a question, several actually; I am seriously considering removing the liner, is there any reason other than cosmetic that I need the liner? Do you know how much it weighs? i would use some 2" nidacore and glass 2 layers of 1708 on each side. it would be stiffer to add a skin of ply to each side of 1 1/2, but im not sure its needed on something that narrow. then rip some foam down to 2"x2" and glue that to the exposed edge of the nidacore, radius it and ...

whoops i think i read it wrong, i thought you were just filleting and tabbing. for tabbing with one person i like to set up some visqueen and wet out all the tape first and roll it up backwards, then just roll it right side up into the boat. then all youve really gotta do is hard-roll. hell of alot ...
