Fly your motor looks as though it is mounted perfect height. Cavitation plate just below hull at transom so trimming up should be easy. You should get max speed easy. 8)

TW28 is basically ocean going boat? TW32 is larger version in the near future. ***** is a foul weather capable boat that will never be designed? I love the CS look , have the CS23 plans and if I ever build it for fishing the Gulf I will think about a larger boat to build. The larger boat will be one...

If you are trying to sneak up on specks or reds then go far upwind and let the wind carry you over fish area. This is a basic inshore technique that allows a silent approach in any boat. :) If you don't have the room to go around fish area (canal, bayou, etc.) then launch up river/wind to begin with...

a GV11 or 13 would look awesome atop that cabin. And my beautiful blonde wife on a towel sunning on the fore cabin. Now if I could find time to work the overtime to save to buy the supplies and build it. Or quit work, get a huge loan from the bank, build the boat and sell it to one of the wea...

I got the blackwatch site to connect today and that 260 is awesome. Jacques if you could make the cx25 a co25 (convertible) I would buy the plans in a heartbeat if it looked like the blackwatch260. A pocket convertible/sport fisherman w/flybridge is purfect. :D

Unfortunately I am not smart enough to figure out how the huge increase came about (maybe tail wind versus extreme head wind on slow day, I don't remember conditions) but I started with 13 pitch and using tach I kept checking rpms with different pitchs till I got rpms to about 5500-5600. This took r...
