Drip Rings
Cut the drip rings with a hole saw and jig saw. Then slid them onto the shaft before gluing on the paddle blades and drip rings at the same time. Just guessed where they belonged. By the way, have used the paddle numerous times and it worked out just fine. Little kids seem to have no problem handlin...

Seat Prototype
Here are a couple pictures of a folding chair for the canoe. Frame is made from 1x4 S4S Pine, seat and back rest from 1/4" marine left over from 3rd sheet. Pivot points are carraige bolts and nuts. Whole thing is glued and fastened with screws and finishing nails. I plan to attach rubber mattin...

Seat
Nice looking little seat. Since my last post, I woke up in the middle of the night with seat plans running thru my head. Result was a little folding seat.
