I built a 14 ft chenoa last year and you will be suprised at how rigid this thing becomes.

Don't be too worried when you are just stitching it together and trying to get the bows together. Once you get the fillets in there it is remarkably rigid. And I just used really cheap plywood.

One last question on this topic as tonight I am applying the rubrail.. Can I lay the layers consecutively without them drying or do I have to wait until the individual layer drys before I can lay the next?? Thanks..

I just don't have enough to fishished some of the gluing for my seat tops and the yoke. I am building the Chenoa canoe.. I should have just ordered two bags when I started.

Can I use either of these fillers as a replacment for the wood flour normally provided in the epoxy kits from this site?? I am in need of more and I do not want to wait for shipping for such an insignificant item.. All of my surfaces will be painted so the filler color is not as important. Also, wil...

Why don't you put on a keelshield. They don't look bad and they will definitely protect your keel..

If you want firsthand testimony of the Smarttabs, go to the Iboats.com forums. A guy name NautiJohn hangs out there. I think he is the owner. Lots of people on that site have tried them with very positive results. NautiJohn will answer whatever questions you have..
