The GF18 draft is about 5 inches and the PPI is 375 pounds. There are numerous threads if you'll search on "GF18" and "draft".

The GF16 & GF18 also carry a lot and they have very shallow drafts!

Joel & Jacques, I just wanted to verify - my calculations yielded 12, 41 as well. I do intend to cut everything exactly as dimensioned on the plans. But after reading numerous other posts that talked about transom angles, I wanted to confirm - the other posts spoke of angles from 14 to 17 degree...

I'll look again but I haven't seen a degree listing for the angle. Based on the plan measurements and basic trig it's about 12 1/2 degrees.

Jacques, I've examined the GF18 plans thoroughly and based on the dimensions given, the transom angle is a little over 12 degrees. The posts that I have seen regarding transom angle generally specify a 17 degree angle while a few of the posts have mentioned 14 and 15 degree angles. Please advise. Th...
