Console pilot house on FS19

Would it be possible to add one of the console pilot houses to the FS19. Would building it from finished Nidacore be acceptable.

With the hull panels in place its to heavy for the wife and I to push it. About ready to align and glue the panels together. I have one question on the bow m...

Re: FS 17 Build

When I built my strongback I placed plywood on the upper surface and used the plywood for measurement assuming it would be more stable. It also provides a good surface for assembling the long-hull pieces.

Re: FS19 - new design

I plan on using a jackplate on my FS19. Am I still limited to a 25 inch shaft?

Re: FS19 in Washington State

Still struggling with the jig, all the molds are installed and as near vertical as we can get them. I think its more important that the molds enter the stringers and the tolerance on the 36 inch spacing at their base acn vary up to 1/4 th of 1/2 inch. The diagonals are within 1/4 inch. The main issu...

Re: FS19 in Washington State

Molds C thru F are mounted on the strong back which is level and molds are perpendicular using a level. http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/12700/IMG_1030.JPG The stringer is flush with mold F. http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/12700/IMG_1024.JPG Picture of molds D and E. http://gall...

Re: FS19 in Washington State

We added a 1 inch spacer to mold C and it fits as you said with the stringer 1/4 inch below the mold. however we have run into a problem with mold E, the slot is 5 inches and the stringer is 5.5 inches above the slot. It looks like I should increase the depth of mold E 3/4 inch ? At mold F both the ...

Re: FS19 in Washington State

That was my intent, side consoles with windows and a center opening window to the front casting deck. It'll all have to be custom and built in place on the boat. I ran it by Jacques and he agreed. See:
