Thanks, Jacques. I am not concerned about being able to do it, just wanted to be sure I would not compromise performance too much. What would you recommend as minimum hp? I had a 25 in Nina and was quite happy with it.

Basically I like the look and feel there are some advantages in having the motor in a well. (I built Nina). I like Spira's l8 footer but prefer your softer chines.

I'm with Larry. I had the same kind of spaces with my LB22. I think Meranti just can't make the bend with some of these designs. Seems like I read Jacques saying he used Okoume specs for that in the software that does the panels. I did more than kerf, which required a bit of fairing. It worked fine...

Some where I think I read about installing a tank by lightly foaming the corners (nothing on the sides). The foam will hold in in place and still allow for expansion. Might work. I am still unsure how you can vent the space in the coffin to get rid of the outgassing through the skin of the tank. I w...
