I am finishing up a Panga, the biggest mistake I made is not buying a precut kit. Cutting it out takes less time than transferring the dimensions. I would guess transferring patterns and cutting takes 30-40 hours. There is ample opportunity to make an error. There is no way you're going to build one...

Gary, I don't have the plans in front of me but the tank is just aft of the casting deck (forward of the C console). The fill and vent tubes exit at the rh front side so the connections are under the casting deck.I have a round inspection hatch over the fuel feed/ fuel level indicator attach. I fill...

I had a tank built for the Panga 20 and installed it under the deck for the same reason. The only down side is it would be necessary to cut it out if you had to take it out. My tank is about 18 gallons, cost about 200.

Through the bottom. Pull the pipe and it drains except for a few inches, or it will drain when you get on plane then stick a plug in it. KISS.

Thanks Jacques. I'm just using a bottom drain with a stand pipe. My last boat was like that and it wasn't a probem.

Through deck baitwell.

I am building a Panga 20 and have a round baitwell about 25 In. Dia. Rather than have it sit on top of the deck (floor), I want to have it go through the floor to the hull between the frames. I would put foam between the hull and baitwell bottom. Any problems with this structurally?

Hey, I've been investigating the same for the interior of my Panga. I stumbled on to Durabak used as a spray or rolled on bedliner. A similar product is herculiner. While researching these things I stumbled onto a similar product called Gator Guard which is actually a 2 part Epoxy product used for b...

Mark, I am building a Panga 20 and encountered similar problems. I tried various things to the point of exerting 100s of pounds of tension with clamps and cargo straps and having people stand on the hull. I cut a few kerfs and it helped some but at this point I could hear the ply starting to crack a...
