I just ventured over to “the bilge” and I’ve discovered that CL is no longer with us...... I had wondered why he had not sent me a private message telling me to use some kerosene and a match on the sea ox hulls like we had joked about in years past... I just got back from a trip to the gulf and was ...

I’m even thinking about adding to each side of the stringers.

Just a skin out of the mold on the long one, the 25’ true sea ox has some rough height stringers in it.... foam cored with a single layer of glass at this point.

What you think CL?

One hull def a sea ox, but I ain’t so sure about this 30’ Hull.....

I just went through this entire thread this evening, thanks to all that contributed to it AND a massive thanks to CL for documenting the whole thing. I’m getting 3 hulls(package deal on the cheap) that I was told are Sea Ox, the smallest being 25’ and the largest measures something around 30’( I sus...

My shop is still just a concrete slab, turning all my income back into the farm at the moment, next year should start to show the effort in increased income.....fingers crossed!

I ordered way too much for a fiberglass job hoping I would have enough for a good start on a boat! Looks like 6 gallons total, not bad to get started!
