Re: 2006 Panga 20 for sale
Fuzz...I am getting old enough (74) to really dislike to the trailering aspect of fishing. When I built the boat, I was getting up at 4 or 5 in the morning and happily spending the day fishing etc...not so much any more.

Re: Self drain Panga 20 ok ?
As Jacques says...the term self-draining for this boat means unloaded at the dock. Also as he says the basic design can self-drain with 1-2 people. However, you may add enough extras that use up that allowance. For example I have a 20 gallon live well, two batteries, a center console with navigation...

6 year touchup for Panga 20
Hi again The Panga is still going strong but the sun has really done a number on the gunwales. I had it covered for a couple of years but then the cover disintegrated and I didn't replace it (I should have!). I now know that I should have glassed the the lap seam of the gunwale top and rub rail. Str...

Re: New design
Jacques
As an offshore fisherman, I notice the the raised "splash board" on the aft gunwales
will make it hard for a fisherman to sit or put one foot up to steady themselves.
Nice design..thanks

Re: Building a first boat...in Alaska!
I also would recommend the C17 with your space limitations (the C19 would be even better for the waters you mention)...and I must say that I am jealous. I've fished in your area a few times and dreamed that one day I would move there, at least for the summer months. If that were to happen I would be...

Re: DE 25 Contruction time
David I am very interested in your question (and it's various answers) because I feel there are two areas that many builders underestimate...total costs and labor for various build stages. Like Copro, I spent between 1000 and 1500 hrs for a fully rigged operational boat (panga 21). To me the costs s...
