I begin construction on the cabin at the farm in May. We've had a very mild winter (it's cold this week) but we've had little snow. it would have been a great winter to build a boat!

Half way through my MPH degree -- building a boat was easier. and more fun!

Glad to help

Hi all, been a long time since I've been here. I'm proud to still be considered the "poster child" of hull hooks!

If anyone has GV 15 questions, I'm still glad to help with what I remember.

But the good news is -- many of you know I was searching for land and -- a barn to build boats in. Tuesday I close on...

Sorry, missed this one, which posts, your own?

You should be able to click an X below your own posts -- however, if you start a thread (post) and others reply, I don't think you can delete it.

If you answer a post, then yes, you can delete it. Let me double check,.

It sounds like an odd fluike --- let me know if you continue to see the "old" image. I can look into it more. If you do see the old one, let me know the file name and I can do some checking.

I glued it where I could -- on the frames and on the gunwale inwale -- once I got to the bow, I initially filet and filled and then covered it with a commercial rub rail to trim out the joint.

If my memory serves me, I also glued some cleats on the bow on the inside for some additional support.
