To my knowledge, there is nothing in gasoline that will hurt stainless steel. It would surely tear up engine parts as well if there was. The only problem I know of is with rubber fuel lines, etc. The hose manufacturers have pretty well come up with fuel resistant hoses though. We had a lot of proble...

Wes, Why don't you emboss the HIN with one of those little tape machines, trace it with a pencil on a piece of paper and send it in. Then you can stick the tape someplace on the boat and the heck with Texas. :idea: By the way, I just finished re-doing an aluminum Flat boat I bought a year and a half...

I have to agree with Gary. I also moved my console forward on my OD16. My tank is under the front seat of the console. No problem getting on plane with a 60 h.p. 2 cylinder Evinrude.(not nearly as powerful as the 3 and 4 cylinder engines of approx. the same power rating). I am not comfotable running...

I used a paint called multi-spec made by MULTICOLOR SPECIALTIES, INC., Cicero, IL 60804-2209. I bought it at my Sherwin Williams store.
