Wilmington, NC Boat Show welcomes home-built boat builders!
Cape Fear Community College will hold it's 12th annual boat show in Wilmington, NC on Saturday, July 23 and welcomes boat builders of all kinds to display their work and enjoy the event. It's only $50 to enter and you get a free t-shirt and a great N.C. barbeque dinner after the show. I had my C19 i...

Re: C19 - Splashed and on the water!
Thanks for all the nice comments. A friend of mine and I shot some video of the boat on the water last weekend. We'll cut it together and post it soon.

Re: C19 leans to port at high speeds
Just an update to the leaning C19 - I turned the fin on the motor the whole way to the right and it drove much more level. Still leaned a bit, but much better.

If the rain clears up here today, I'll try some adjustments and let you know the results. Thanks for the tips!

C19 leans to port at high speeds
Hey guys - Does anyone know how to correct a C19 than leans to port at speeds of 25 mph+? It's powered by a 115 Suzuki 4 stroke with a 14" prop with 19" pitch. I don't want to install trim tabs, but it's pretty annoying. I had a 21" prop on first and it went fine, but had trouble gett...

I'll tell my wife that everyone thinks the boat makes her look thinner.

C19 - Splashed and on the water!
Hey everybody - Another C19 has officially been splashed! We put it in on Friday, July 2 at Wrightsville Beach, NC. It runs great so far. I'm using a 115 hp Suzuki 4-stroke, which is a very quiet engine and is nice on fuel too. Top speed is 45 mph with a 14" 21 pitch stainless prop. I'm going t...

Re: C19 - performance question
We hit 45 mph at 5500 rpms the second day out, but the prop is a 21 pitch, rather than 19 like you recommended. I'll swap it out for a 19" and see what she does. (My engine guy insisted that I try the 21 first.) All and all, a very stable boat. The wind was blowing 10-15 knots and we took it ou...

C19 - performance question
Hey C19 owners - We test rode the boat today. It was great. One question, though - how many rpms does it take to it up on a plane? I have a 115 hp Suzuki with four adults on board a half tank of gas. We were breaking in the engine and didn't get above 3,000 today. Will push it harder tomorrow and se...
