Yup, the pisser. Blow backwards and that help get rid of any junk in there. Running without the t-stat may help get all that out (if there's anything in there). Compressed air may help also. Scott, If it were my motor, I would change the complete water pump (impeller & housing). I would also replace the t-stat. Don't run without a t-stat, the OMC motors don't respond well to that. Try thining it more. I did and it worked fine. I sprayed mine on in 80+ temp days and thinning helps. I'm sure I went way over 10% with no problems. I think it's just a matter of doing what it takes to work. Good luck.
