The reason I asked about the quikfair is that I`m building the cs25 and took almost two kits to do just the bottm. Six or seven sounds about right by the time I hit the sides and transom. glass bubbles

A friend stopped by yesterday and gave me a large bag of glass bubbles, are these acceptable to mix with silica for the slurry to fill the weave with? This is not the milled fibers, supposed to be like ballons. Ever heard of um? Mike

Can someone please help me come up with a rub rail for my cs25? I`m trying to get 40+ year dried 3/4x1 1/2 clear cypress strips to make the bend and have broken two already, one plain and one scarfed. I think it`s just too dry to make the compound bend. Any other ideas? Mike
