Re: Lee Production Pot IV Electric Lead Melter

It's a good melting pot. I've been using it for years in my reloading for competition events.

Re: Work area needed for a GF 16

It's definitely a plus to have your own tools at hand. With some careful planning you can make maximum use of the space available.

Re: The eternal question: which row boat to choose?

The Iowa is in mothballs at the Benicia, CA mothball site. It's still an impressive sight.

I am looking at the FL-14. I think I would use that more than my 24' cruiser.

Re: What's with the forum?

I'm going to guess that we are not seeing the last 10 posts on the main Bateau2 page because the re-indexing is underway. Hope we don't lose that feature to. Thanks to the webmaster for the work being done. I know it is often far from stress free. :D This was one of the best features of the forum. ...

FL 14 Power

The idea of 48VDC bothers me. That's a lot of battery. Also, the add says nothing about how long you can run. You might be better off with a Minkota or the like. It is an interesting idea though. 8)

Thanks Eshell. Sounds like a good system -- if it keeps from wasting epoxy, it might pay for itself. On a cool day, with slow hardener... you could probably get alot of seam done, with one tube. 8) If you run out, I see them at BBC here for $1.55 each: http://boatbuildercentral.com/proddetail.php?p...

Thanks. I'm making a CD that will be available when I'm finished.
I want to sign up for a copy of the CD as soon as it's available.
