Re: C19 - Pics from painting the inside
Mate the boat looks awesome. I have got about 300 hours up in my C19, mainly fishing offshore in Queensland, not at the moment though, cyclones have no consideration for us fisherman. I haven't been on this forum for ages and this has probably been raised re your boat, if you intend taking it into t...

Re: C19 nose down
Yeh Larry, I recon that trim tabs are the go so will put some on.
Re some weight up front, my son is 110kgs, he doesn't enjoy the ride up front to much in the rough.
Any suggestions re trim tabs, hydraulic or electric? Don't know much about them except for what I have googled?
Cheers

C19 nose down
I have 130hours on my c19 and she is great. One thing I would like to improve is her into-chop performance, any suggestions on how I can keep the bow down a bit, I don't have much weight up the front and into chop the bow tends to come up a bit and she smacks down in the middle, when the nose is dow...

On the nesting plans I have the two pieces that make up the big inboard stringer were labelled inboard/outboard and inboard/inboard, which meant they both get glued together to make the one inboard stringer. The two pieces that make up the smaller outboard stringer were labelled outboard/outboard an...

Like everyone else my timber for the strongbacks were not straight. http://www.outbackpics.com/Boat/pics/panels%20on/bot-Panels2.jpg My floor was far from level as well. You will notice chocks etc under the timber in this pic to help level it up. I used stringlines in just about every direction and ...

Dave The boat is going great, biggest problem is getting some good weather, worst time of the year for us here with wind. However I have got about 65 hours up on the motor so far, mainly fishing and towing tubes and knee boards. The 115 give plenty of power and the C19 is learnign how to catch fish ...

Yes there is plenty of room to tilt the motor, my etec 115 does not go anywhere near that bulk head wall, however the loop of cables pretty much needs that total area for a good bend as jacquesmm points out. Maybe if you put in a bench that can be removed or folds down, for when you need the room. M...
