It's been quite a while since I last posted anything here. A few more pictures have been added http://www.thus.ch/~jd/sailing/D5/FrameSet.htm but these are not too recent as I've moved since then. The new garage is bigger but then it's full of junk, so actually less space. What's left to do is primi...

Thanks Charlie. Alas, it was a bit late but we shall see how it will all work. My boat will definitly go in circles, I noticed my skeg is not straight... Anyway, I was wondering for the Breathooks on the front, where on earth do these go? I'm a little unsure about the seat that goes on the dag...

Jeremy, tu as fait mouche, as we'd say in french. Meaning you hit the mark, you nailed it, bullseye. You're boat looks really nice and is an inspiration for me to get moving on my D5. :P I see you really went to town on making it sturdy, double transom, fiberglass bottom, graphite centerboard. Did y...

Oar length
Anyone have any suggestions on a good oar length for a D5? This is going to be the main propulsion system and want to be able to row fairly long distances. Any ideas, pointers, etc.
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks guys, that is really helpful. :) I'm moving on quite nicely but at this stage wondering weither I should go for a satright rowing pram or do the sailing version I initialy thought about. I cut the daggerboard well panels and these seem to be far too small and I think to make things worse, the...
