I bought my console from a dealer. It was new, but customer wanted tiller steering. It is from a Maycraft 17. I took the back seat cushion to a local upholstry shop and had the piece of vinyl replaced that said MAYCRAFT. I too had built a console from Dyvenesil foam, but used it on a 18 skiff I rest...

Installing scuppers- FS17 self bailing
Should the scuppers be right at the waterline or above, or half and half.?With boat floating and full fuel tank and no passengers; should I mark on transom and at what level. The angle of the transom will make the scupper/drain pipe angle rise up, so I need gravity to drain. Thoughts from others how...

Steve 292, The 52 qt seat is 22" from motor well. There is 13" between console and cooler/livewell seat. The seat is 15" at base. Front of console is 26" from raised casting deck, which is 36" from front anchor bulkhead and that 40" from bow tip. The console is 31 1/2&q...

Floats and well balanced! Oh have to mount side rod holders on console! Knew I forgot something!
