Saul: How long after you order plans and/or supplies do they ship?

Answer: Right away. But the question should be: "How long after you receive the plan do you start building the boat?" -vd-

CNC Kits - what Plywood?

Could we specify Okume for the CNC kits? If so, would the additional cost be proportional to the cost of the raw plywood? Thanks. -vd-

Sources for Dual-Blade Marine Wipers?

Thank everyone for the suggestion. I think I will try both: adapting a car/RV wiper set and Rain-X. But if it´s too cumbersome and takes up too much space, I will try Rain-X by itself.

Best regards,

-vd-

Sources for Dual-Blade Marine Wipers?

All the ones I could find are the single blade wiper motors, i.e., each motor controls a separate wiper blade.

The ones I am looking for are those with th...

glass bottom boat

Cell-cast acrylic would be better. It doesn´t bend as much as regular plexiglass does. This cell-cast material is the same type they use to make aquariums in stead of glass. -vd-

FL14: Increasing the Freeboard, Skeg

Can I increase the freeboard (also stern) on the FL14 by extending the height of the sides, the frames, and the stern about 5" more? From the drawing and instructions, these lines are linearly straight so I reason that it is not difficult to do so. I´m not sure I´m correct though.

I wou...
