And WAY LESS than what it is worth to you!!!!!!

Re: SOT Fishing Kayak Plans Request
I am debating on the Plyak12, but would really like to have something that would allow standing to cast and fish. Utilizing a raised seat, like the Larry Chair, and the convertible paddles that are available (Kayak, SUP and stake-out stick). Cruising long distances would not be a priority, but light...

Re: GF18 - Trailer?
My GF18 was slightly wider than the space between the fenders on my trailer, just set-up the bunks to be level with or slightly higher than the fender tops. look at most v-bottom boats on a trailer, the overall beam is typically significantly wider than the distance between the inner-fenders.

Re: Push Pole kits?
Can a push pole be built just using fiberglass sleeves and no carbon fiber?
Would weight become an issue? If possible how many layers would be required?

Re: Randy's Low Sheer OD18
Haven't made much progress in the last year and a half, life sometimes gets in the way. One day the project will get moving again, in the meantime, if you would like to share some ideas let me know.

Re: Custom trailer question
Did a large portion of my build at the storage facility where I stored mine at that time. Could be a little dusty at times, and clean-up was not always as easy. Nothing beats having it right outside the back door.

Re: Lets see your bait/live wells.
I made one out of an Igloo Cube icechest and an Atwood Tsunami live well kit. Ignore the fact the pump cartridge is removed in the photo. http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/10548/Portable_livewell_Outside.jpg http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/10548/normal_Portable_livewell_Inside.jpg

Re: Randy's Low Sheer OD18
It has been awhile since I posted on my current build, a low sheer OD 18. The layout will will be similar to the Phantom 18 with an extended rear and front deck and gunnels running between the decks. One difference is that I plan to mount the console on the rear deck, giving a raised driving platfor...

Re: FS14 Low Sheer?
Great Plan. The fun of building your own boat is making it your own boat. Add the wide gunnels, minimal extra cost, a suggestion on the livewell - convert an ice chest. There are several kits that include a recirculating pump and spay head, and it is portable.
