You might try using a room size dehumidifier, placing it in the boat and taping a plastic tarp over the whole hull. this should take out any trapped water in a day or so... I guess there could be a danger of drying it out too much so be careful.

Robbie, I have a hand control bowmount Minn Kota on a 16' alum. jon. I mounted it so that the shaft when lowered is centered on the bow. As long as you can get close you will be OK. The mount is raised on a block to clear the 2" lip or gunnel around the front deck. It's angled so that the steer...

Capted, Wood flour is more refined - almost like flour. I'm sure many have used sawdust. Sawdust would be a little grainy and lumpy and you could not get away without sanding which is possible with a wood flour mix. Also if you wanted to mix a third material in like silica or micro balloons. wood fl...

I just got a tilt trailer - it came with a 16' jon I bought from a friend. Never used one before. The first two times we put in I didn't use the tilt feature. Had to go real deep at the ramp to float off the bunks. Last two times using the tilt was a dream - on and off in a foot of water with my tru...

I think boats on ebay go pretty cheap. You can't blame the buyer because it's generally site-unseen. Brand names will bring more action. The seller can always set a reserve for what he needs to get We all know what a great little boat the D15 is but most people wouldn't.

Can't get much lower elevation than FL! So now I have to worry about a peaceful day of fishing being ruined by my boat exploding:) How about the white molded styrofoam that is used as packaging for a lot of electronics? Also the foam insulation boards sold in home centers (pink or blue). Not free bu...
