thanks jacq.. no questioning here on strenghts of your boats...just looking for mtr req..more v in hull..I'll be using it mostly in the Narragansset Bay area i can get nasty here... getting info on best for my situtation

OB 17 VS FS 17

Could anyone explain what the diffences are between these two boats..
I want to build one of these but not sure what one..

any info would be greatly appreciated

I haven't seen any picts of a complelted one yet either..i think you and i are the only ones doing this project..

I'll try and add some pict's of the models tomorrow..i have to first make a gallery...

I have used that two part perfection paint before, here in the us it's Interlux... Now i know why it came out so good..

Thanks for the info.......i have done a few models before and hope to get this one figured out soon.. have you heard of the S.S. MINNOW (from Gilligan's Island. tv show here in the US) and the ORCA from the movie JAWS.. I have done these models in balsa and 1/8"ply both are 30" long I'll s...

Hey wobbly awsome job on the painting !!!!! I was wondering on what brand did you use ?? BillTwo a down cut blade for the jig saw will produce a clean cut/with a lot of teeth.. sometimes a 1/8 or 1/4 sheet of junk ply under the area where your going to cut will stop the splinters. Question for Jacquesmm CX-19 measurement

on drawing #D219/6 section D there's two measurements the same, but i think should be diffrent. From the center line to the lower right coner it's 33 1/2. From the center line to the inside gunwale also says 33 1/2. could you look into this for me and let me know what you think thanks Jeff P.s quick...
