My strakes go forward a bit more than yours. It adds stiffness on the front section. ( you can tell if you get in the boat while on the trailer). It also makes a rub area for beaching. I'm selling my GF-16 for less than the material cost to build one.. Decks need redone and boat needs painted but it is a solid hull that could be finished out pretty quickly. Throwing in a bunch of supplies to finish it as well... Message me if your interested.

Larry, Sounds like you need a GF16 I hear you all... Again I am just testing the water. If no one is interested I will bring it down next week and begin working on it after we move. Good to hear from you all.
