I just wanted to know if you had any updates on the boat. I'm up in Cecil County trying to wrap up my OB 19. Maybe we could motivate each other to get finished soon!

Thanks for all the replies and insight. I think I will leave it the way it is. It will be stronger and probably not as much as of a nuisance as I think it could be. Wade...can you give some thoughts on how the water drains passed that area...Steven has mentioned in the past that water/dirt collects ...

Thanks oso, I just went through your build...that D15 is really coming along...I love the color! I think we should race to hit the water...You should win but it might motivate me!

Made some more progress this weekend! My parents came up to visit on Saturday and my dad and I got a lot done on the boat. The majority of the day was spent getting the bow deck/seat completely finished! We started by painting some pigmented epoxy in the anchorwell and the bow deck compartment as yo...

I only put one layer of tape at that joint (I'm pretty sure thats what the plans called for but I would have to double check)...I might leave it the way I have it unless persuaded otherwise.

As long as it does not make a huge difference structurally I think I may cut it back like Steven is going to do. I cant be sure if it will be a nuisance but it is easier to cut back now than after it is finished.

I posted a question over in the Power Boats section about the side deck frames, in reference to something Steven mentioned in an earlier post. Any help is appreciated!

My goal is to finish the major construction of the boat by April 1st! This includes the cutting out of all the plywood pieces needed, gluing them in place, and fiber glassing everything!

It is asking a lot but possible.

Another update... I have been working whenever I can...still plodding along! I've got the anchorwell just about finished.
