Check the Building Method http://boatplans-online.com/proddetail.php?prod=GF14. It explains when to check for symetry. I don't have plans for the GF16, but I'm sure the building notes have the info in there somewhere in more detail.

I think I'll run a PVC under the center of the console back to the motor well and out the transom. I'd like the pickup to be as low as possible to get cooler water. I don't mind a little water in the cockpit from drainage, but I don't like things on the sole that I'll either trip over or stub my toe...

When I built my V10, I used wooden dowel pieces on the inside of each stitch. I had to start at the transom and work my way forward. The bow was especially difficult and the first piece of ply actually broke before the bend was complete (cheap exterior ply). I think the plans actually suggest that y...
