Close but not it ,to big, and the boat is a sharpie I like the bow of the garvey better,wider entrance to the boat.Where I use them theres no docks, launching ramp is just a clearance in the forest so that you dont have to pull your boat through the trees...thats why I dont want it too wide yet not ...

Flat bottomed GV 13

Its me again,forgot to mention about dims. something with a 48inch flat bottom with a beam around 60 inches.Dont want something to big( 14 ft ish or so) as the boat will be trailered from lake to lake on VERY rough roads....sorry for the double post on the same subject !guess the cofee hasnt fully k...

Thanks for the replies,ended up buying the 535 portable hummingbird.Got it from a smaller shop rather than CTR.At least when you go back to the small shop they recognise you, and more often than not, they know what they are talking about compared to the big boxes....Had to buy it in a hurry, taking ...

Just looking for the simplest portable fish finder.I will be moving it from boat to boat ....on some of the lakes where I go fishing, you have to rent the parcs boats; its their way to limit the amout of boats on the lakes...you supply the outboard motor,so Im looking for something thats very mobile...

Thanks Jaques,didnt know how to access it.It is a very easy way to make a set of oars,without busting the bank...I will post a comment when I am done with them.The pictures of how to build them were well done, and worth a million words... very much appreciated :D Mike
