yes, im aware of the draft loss...a couple of inches are not a big concern for me in the marshes around here...fish dont swim in 3 inches...as long as i can run in 6-8 and float in 8-12 all is good for south la....

hey man the boat looks great...ive been away for quite a while...my fs 18 is still just on paper...i had built a strongback and then scrapped it...my plans are sitting somewhere..i went with my own design(ill be done with it in another week or so...construction is complete, rigging it right now...)....

panel ..
dude...the panel dimension doesnt change(frame stays the same, deck sits on this... :doh: :doh: :doh: ).....you cut the panel according to the drawing on the "plates" page....that will give you the amount above the baseline at station a, and everything else......if you are doing the flush ...

ok....that is what finetuning is for..but, cool......... i was just offering an alternative...if it cost you 50$ to put these together, then you should spend the 100$ to buy the smart-tabs... my opinion.. i edited this a little bit after re-reading....i didnt realize how rude it sounded as i was typ...

hmm..
ive been away from the computer for a while...im only doing a sole as designed(in the cockpit area)...the front of station a will be just watertight and filled foam for me...i will put a hatch in the rear compartment, my battery will go there... i havent been able to do anything else with this build...

you will have to use scraps or temporary frames for c and d...if not from what i have found....to make them as solid pieces as shown on frames and stations drawing (where the dimensions are), you would have to use too much ply...they are more than four feet across the top...so, use the dimensions to...

well...
i was in business for myself, fabshop....had to give it up b/c of a divorce...shop was behind the house... im not setup to do it now... i would say that theres not enuff money in it(a small job-shop), but dang if i can get 400 for a 5 gallon gastank.....geesh....lol.....i can build that in 2 - 3 hrs...
