I have had the best results doing roll and tip on S3 using a foam brush. Even a very soft bristle brush seems to leave small brush lines.

The boat is looking great! Looks like you are going to be able to get it done without having to use a lot of quickfair. The glass looks really nice.

I would guess an FL14 could be faired with a 1.5 quart kit. Unfortunately I was not as good at it. I used a...

Isopropyl Alcohol works great. When I built my FL14 I bought a gallon at the hardware store and it was very handy for cleaning up. I used both the dollar brushes and the 4" white foam rollers. I really wish I had used the foam rollers from the beginning. When I used the brushes I always applied...

I'm thinking about making this my next boat, so I can't wait to see the images from this build as well. What sort of layout are you thinking of doing (console, benches)

Wow you did a nice job! It's a great feeling to get a boat you built by hand on the water. Congratulations!

The big push was on to get this boat ready for a 4th of July launch. Every year I go camping with my family and I really wanted to have the boat completed. Thanks to all of you at Bateau! I never could have done this without having the forum available. I can't count the number of times I was able to...

How well does blue painters tape work? Should I be masking with something else? I'm finally ready to prime the inside of the boat today, but all I have in the house is blue painters tape. After all the sanding I don't want to make a mess of the boat now.

Nice Shop! I love the idea of a mini bar right in the man cave. I may have to steal that Idea for myself.
