You couldn't be more wrong. I'm happy I sold it to someone who could finish it and use it or sell it. I'm angry that his sales pitch is so far from the truth.

My previous post was aimed at the new owner for the very inaccurate craigslist post he made, not at Bateau. In my opinion this site is the best there is, high quality building supplies at a good price and the forum is the best out there, there are very knowledgeable people here that are very helpful...

As the original builder of this boat I can tell you that the craigslist posting of the new owner is very misleading and inaccurate. The boat is not made from a Bateau kit.The boat is made of plywood not mahogany wood, nothing on this boat is CNC cut. I have not built several custom boats and canoes....

The OB17 is sold. It was a fun and rewarding project, sorry it had to end. Thank you to everyone on this site, without your help and support I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did.

do you use that rotary cutter like a pizza cutter? What do you cut against, wood? Metal? Works just like a pizza cutter, I cut on the particle board top on my work bench, the smoother the surface the better it works. It does miss cutting a strand of glass here and there, just keep a cheap scissors ...
