Re: OB19 General
Ok Next Question, I haven't made any progress on the bout building. (Man can a repossessed house be a money pit). The thought however has never left my mind. The one thing I'm still pondering around is the addition of a ski pole. I want to pull the kids on skis and tube. I have search the forum with...

Hi Antonie,
Your boat looks great and you are making good progress, keep up the good work. I'm going to do some work on the boat this weekend. And it's tax season

Re: Marine Ply South Africa
Hi Evan,
Thanks for the post, sorry it took so long to come back but I was "offline" for a while.
The two options I'm looking at is Redwood and Maranti.
They are both made to BS1088.
Thanks,
JJ.

Re: Marine Ply South Africa
Just rephrasing my question and looking for an answer please....
The Okoume in South Africa are very expensive, but I can source WBP grade marine ply at a failry good price.
Can I build the entire boat, hull and all with WBP marine grade?
What will the pro's and cons be?
Thanks,
JJ.

Re: JJ"S OB19 in SA
Hi All, Just a quick update, I'm still settling in after the house move and my plans are still packed away in a box somewhere :( . I have glued the stringers and the Transom, used plastic bags filled with sea sand as weight (didn't know that I'm not allowed to remove sand from beaches and almost wal...
