Re: Wouter's PH18 Namibia
Ja, boet - that looks really good. Bagging composites is a great way to get a good finish. Is that a refuge black bag? Great work.

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM
HI buddy, The work looks soooo clean. How's the new bionic member's healing coming along. Looking at your lists, I'm still missing a 200mm clamp from my previous build......Not sure if its in the foam somewhere or chucked out with some rubbish. I hope the latter. As the Captain use to say - build on.

No, fg1k - my bagging experience is limited to 100g glass cloth and 120g carbon wide tow cloth on drone wings. Very light stuff. A typical wing layup for me on a 3m wingspan wing is around 250 to 300g epoxy - in total. You're in a completely different league. Love to watch, thanks for sharing.

He, he - been there. The panels that you bagged does not even seem to have glass on. That is a great job considering the size. Very cool.fallguy1000 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 6:45 pm I ought to have used peelply. Instead we did a lot of drip mitigation.

Hi,
That looks like a great project - she almost looks like a Grady. My CS23 had a very similar stringer setup. Good luck - I'll follow your progress, looks good. Will you be using epoxy from here on or will you stick with polyester?

Ouch, and then 6 weeks rest after surgery. Rather take it easy and rest it properly. A friend around my age keeps on telling me that at our age we do not bounce back anymore, we just break....not sure I'm happy with that
