Re: Outboard running temp?
After 40 years I finally went to Chiropractor and he has worked miracles on my back.
I am almost pain free for first time in 40 years.
I was a non-believer but now I am telling everybody to run to a chiropractor for relief

Re: GV 11 materials question
When laying glass I like my epoxy to be about 80 degrees before mixing - it is much more fluid and easier to work with than at 60 degrees - in my opinion........

Re: GV13 bottom finishing
I would not finish paint the exterior sides before completing the inside you could take it to primer level and graphite bottom.

From another GV13 builder that looks great - much better than mine at that stage!
It really took a nice shape with great seams!

Re: Mattkab's GV13
Looks great - I love my Garvey 13 - it can handle any sea conditions that I can.
When using the boat "we are one" after about 150 hours of running.
I would consider putting another layer of glass on bottom panels if you are going to add weight and want to use in heavey seas.
Have fun!!

Re: Door material?
Use frosted glass for panel would be a real cool look - some high end boats have doors like that.
