Re: AD 14 mast partner location

Hi SP, I have built my AD14 a while ago, but I remember that the 3 thin mast partner pieces are glued down exactly forward of frame A. This gives you the location of the mast hole centre at 149 mm away from frame A . Frame A is reinforced with 2 pieces of plywood on the top. You can see these measur...

Re: TW28 for Adriatic Sea

Congratulations Dario on the successful launch of your boat. As with all of us it took longer to build as the estimated building time. Congratulations to the successful splash of Your OB15. I think you are the second Austrian besides me who built a boat designed by Jaques Mertens and reported the splashing in the forum.

Re: Vg20 finally underway

Hi, When I built my boat AD14 I had the same problems understanding the idea of the centreboard keel installation in its case. Jaques Mertens gave me the assurance that I will never ever have to remove the sleeve. The advantage of the sleeve is that it is nearly touching the inside of the centreboar...

Re: MI 12

Hi,
Nice paint job. Is it an optical illusion or is the bottom panel of the boat all of a sudden 1 inch thick ?
