Jamie,
Thanks for the reply.
After doing some calculations and cross-referencing I think I've pretty well got it figured out. Did not want to take any chances in case I was missing something.
Thanks,
DaveB.

FL12 Butt Blocks
So a couple of boys at school asked me to help them build Flat Skiff 12 after we built a FS13 last year as part of a class. Stoked on their excitement. Everything is cut but one measurement is nowhere to be found in my plans or build notes. The notes say "The plans include a full size pattern f...

Re: OD18 vs FS19
Jacques,
Can respond to my question a few posts earlier about how the FS19 compares to the classic Aquasport 196.
I know that boat well enough to know it is exactly what I am after. Hoping the FS19 is very similar.

Re: OD18 vs FS19
Jacques, I currently have a Aquasport 170 and have always wanted to move up to a 196 but they are extremely rare on the west coast. Since I have never seen the FS series how would the FS19 compare in size to the Aquasport 196? I know you Floridians see a lot of Aquasports. I am mostly interested in ...

Re: FS13 Transom Dimension
Jacques, Thank you for the clarification. Your description was exactly what I thought it was, just wanted to double check as I did not make out any reference marks for that dimension on the plan. My reference to page 7 was in relation to how it was formatted in the PDF file. Sorry for any confusion....

FS13 Transom Dimension
On page 7, which lists the transom dimensions, there is a notation of "5". Working in millimeters is this number in reference to the outside right and left edge of the transom up from the bottom edge. In essence creating a slight angle upwards from the centerline of the transom. Thanks, Da...

Re: "Knight" FS13
Nothing really picture worthy to report quite yet. Got in about an hours worth of work with the students which equated out to marking one bottom and one side panel as we discussed and worked through the process. As expected most of the kids are really into the project and a few are thinking it is bo...

"Knight" FS13
Ten years ago, as part of teaching a summer school program, my students and I built three Cheap Canoes and it was a fabulous experience. Since then I have personally built a GV11 with my kids at home to mess around in and they also had a great time helping in the build process. Well I have since mov...

Re: FS13 - missing dimension
Jacques,
I have the metric plans and am missing the same dimension. Is my conversion correct using 441mm?

Re: fs 13
Had a lot of time on my hands yesterday with nothing better to do so I built a 1/10 model and it came out nice for using thin cardboard. Have not had a chance to take pics, but I will get at it tomorrow. Really cool little boat with all kinds of possibilities as noted before.
