Re: The pink filler is...
Jaysen, you said woodflour absorbs water. In glue, only the sanded surface would, much like closed cell foam, right? Correct. So if you use it for glue, sand, then glass, you’ve covered the exposed wood. You can reseal with thin neat coat (warm for easy flow). Let thing is if you sand wood flour im...

Re: The pink filler is...
Silica is harder than wood, holds shape, and doesn’t hold water. Hard as forking steel. Balloons add volume, don’t hold shape, and leave opportunity for water intrusion. Super easy to sand… and break. Wood adds volume and strength, allows some flex in the joint, will absorb water when exposed via sa...

Re: The pink filler is...
I wouldn't change the ratio unless you know what you are doing. use it where ever you need. I will say that things that sand was, wear easy. keep that in mind when putting it places that wil see impact and rub wear. in those places maye consider a bit more silica or more empoxy in the mix. but we ar...

That one requires a bit of url magic. Check out the phpbb gallery tutorial at viewtopic.php?t=64990 and see if that works for you.

Re: FB11 for Guntersville Lake and the cartop
I would still suggest that the phpBB photo gallery is simpler for new users as it uses image tags. There’s a tutorial located at https://community.boatbuildercentral.co ... hp?t=64990

Loosen (cut) ties and try again. The key is slowly tightening all the ties not just zipping one area tight then moving to the next. The wood will shift quite a bit as in ways that seem wrong requiring you to make adjustments fairly often.
Hopefully that helps.

Re: knottyBuoyz III The TW28 Project
Who needs a liver? I’m a fans of the Kirk & Sweeney (12yr or better) and Dictador XO for celebration drinks. El Dorado 21 is my dinner choice, my bottles of 12 are backup stock now that I have a good supplier for 21yr. But the real gem is Botan. You can’t get it unless you know someone running t...

Seems a little light to me!
Add some El Dorado, Diplomatico, Botran, Dictador, Plantation and most importantly, Kirk and Sweeney to that list. Figure 40 bottles too. Never find yourself quoting Capt Jack Sparrow.. “Where do all the rum go!?!?!?”
