Re: Favorite Boat Building Tools
Until now I finished two boats, HC16 and OT16, and I used quite a lot of power tools like a cordless drill, jigsaw, circular saw, orbital rectangular sander, multitool, router. All of those tools were useful, but theres just one of the tools I've used, that I would consider essential: the Festool Ro...

Looks great! 40 hours is impressive..... took me a whole summer to build our hc14 o.0 Those 40 hours are spread over a couple of months. Re: LB26 questions
Thanks a lot for the fast response. Scaling down seems to be the right way since I want a 100% legal vehicle when towing. Production boats of this size weigh more and thus require at least a large SUV for towing. Seeing such a big boat behind a station wagon might look out of proportion to many cops...

LB26 questions
Hello everybody, recently I finished an OT16 as my first boat and now I am looking for my next project. I like the Lobster Boat 26 very much and I got some questions concerning this design: 1. The legal towing width here in Germany is 2.55m. Can the rubrail be altered to meet this? I don't want to s...
