Re: Would a 8-10 gal baitwell be OK?
That should be fine assuming you're talking about finger mullet, mud minnows, shrimp, etc, especially if you are planning on pumping water in / drain out. When you will be using shrimp, I'd suggest putting in a resting net--burlap, window screen, laundry mesh, etc work well-- to give them something t...

Re: Stitch and glue?
I just wanted to be the first to ask if the plans for that can be scaled 25% in 1 dimension while adding a bracket for twins while remaining self bailing at the dock with a pilot house. I plan on using poly resin and OSB sheathed strip. I do plan on using reed chine logs. I know it's rated for a 15...

Somewhat jokingly.......are you really sure you want to put oysters in that boat?
Congrats to you on a beautiful, interesting build and to Jacques on his design. I think it's safe to say that we all learned something on this project...

Re: “The Beast”
Struggling with finding the lid gasket. I’ve spent hours looking online, still searching... I'm pretty sure McMaster Carr has them; I bookmarked this page several years ago and is a good tutorial on building a cooler / sourcing supplies: https://www.epoxyworks.com/index.php/building-an-efficient-ic...

Re: Conchfish 16 build
I feel stupid asking this ( though that has never bothered me before ).....where the foam meets end to end, do you try and have the joint over a frame like you would do in woodworking ( edge of plywood centered on a 2 x 4 ), or does it make any difference? Looking great so far....guessing you're not...

Re: knottyBuoyz III The TW28 Project
Rick----a couple of questions about your general impressions of basalt: 1) Did you find it comparable to glass as far as difficulty in applying? 2} Does it use roughly the same amount of epoxy as glass? 3) given the composition, can you apply the stuff without fear of allergic reactions as e-glass h...

Seaslug has built both boats; I would pm him for advice and value his opinion as he certainly is one of the more accomplished builders on this site.
