Re: HM19 10hp cruising speed?
Man, I really messed up my orignal question
I should've just asked: What is the expected top displacement speed be for the HM19.

Re: HM19 10hp cruising speed?
Evan are you doing for the HM or the HMD. They are two very different boats. I would agree with you on the HMD. Tom In the pictures of both boats, the website seems to use the HMD pictures for both designs. Are the differences below the waterline? The description of the HM states that it does nicel...

Re: HM19 10hp cruising speed?
Not with a 10 HP. You"ll need at least 50 HP to get her on plane. I heard reports of her planing with a 30 but that is not confirmed. BTW, those two very different boats. Hi Jacques! Hope you are well. I should've asked "what displacement speed will the HM19 travel at with the 10hp?"...

HM19 10hp cruising speed?
Hello,
What is the expected average cruising speed of the HM19 with the 10 hp? Will the 10hp push the boat faster than the displacement HMD19 version because of the flat bottom?
Thanks,
Bogie

Re: Penny HMD19
This is such a nice build thread. I admire your craftsmanship as well. I've had HMD19 plans for a while. I didn't think I'd build another boat after building "Tipsy" my AD16, but looking at your thread is getting me itching again.
