It runs and rides very smooth. It takes turns on plane very well. Super stable...I had 4 people including me in it and no problem getting up on plane. I was a little worried about the side console, but it runs really well. I’m glad I stuck with the side console...a ton of room.

Finally got the 60hp Suzuki installed and splashed the boat a couple of days ago. Couldn’t be happier...

It’s just grey topside paint then I sprinkled those vinyl flakes from Home Depot. Then I used HD clear coat over it.

I added some height to the side console and had to change the paint on her. Bought a trailer and ordered the motor about a month ago. looks good! Not many people here recently have been starting dory builds. I am finished with mine, waiting on the motor to arrive. Good looking boats though. Will post pics when I get it on the trailer.

Thank you guys for the detective work, and nice work on the leaning post! I think I will play around with some scrap wood, and if worst comes to worst I will purchase something ready to go. Stay tuned, I will post a pic of how it all shakes out.

Where did you get that?

Yeah, I was think about making a bare bone leaning post with the top portion being a piece of plywood curved.

I did not come across one on this forum, has anyone made a leaning post by kerfing plywood?
